Smashing sensational duo Skuki (Peeshaun and Vavavoom) has hit on a
unique formula for financial success. That being the production of a
brand of condoms, called Peeshaun condom.
In a strategic bid to enlarge their entrepreneurial horizons, the two
singers are set to launch the condom, a project that UNICEF (according
to investigations) is sure interested in by way of partnership. A source
close to the artists intimated that the condom named Peeshaun is
already in the pipeline, undergoing registration, and it will be made
public before the close of 2013.
Stories about their foray into condom manufacturing reeled in last
year with the Osun-born singers saying, “We’re going into condom
production because we believe hugely in family planning. Every day we
come across children in the streets hawking when they are supposed to be
in school.
“This actually means that if a couple can afford only one loaf of
bread which can conveniently take care of two children. If they end up
having five, they would have to share one loaf between the five instead
of two. With this, we have malnourished children and infants that are
not given the best attention that they should have.”
Currently on tour in South Africa, the duo confirmed the partnership
with UNICEF, but declined to reveal the specific monetary figure
allocated for the project. Although what they did reveal showed that
they would be making the production in a Chinese company.
