Wizkid was involved
in an automobile accident yesterday at 3:30 AM on June 15, 2013 right
in front of the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos State. Sources say the Pop
singer had attended the Soundcity Nokia #LumiaBeat Party which held at
the first floor of the hotel.
Those close to him say he lost a tyre,
while on motion, causing the accident; as opposed to reports saying the
accident was caused by a multiple collision as he left Oriental. The EME
act was driving his newly-acquired Porsche Panamera. Wizkid left the accident scene without any injuries, thanks to the airbag which activated at the impact of the collision.

Twitter, Facebook hours later with many fans on panicking but a tweet
from Wizkid has calmed nerves. His management when reached, confirmed
Wizkid is ‘fine’.
