Monalisa Chinda in love with Liz Benson and Grace Egbagbe’s ex, Lanre Nzeribe

Star actress, Monalisa Chinda seems to have found love again as she is now involved in a romantic affair with night club businessman, Lanre Nzeribe.

After months of denials, following speculation in the media, the pair have now come out to confess they’re an item, taking the 5th birthday of Monalisa’s daughter Tamar as a perfect opportunity to come out clean.

In a chat with Movie Moments, the light skinned actress who has finally decided to give love a second chance admitted  to reporters, ‘I’m happy and fulfilled that I’m in love again and I’m glad it’s for real this time,’ bringing to an end months of speculation.

In the last few months, the couple has been spotted on several occasions, hand-in-hand, at fun spots and night clubs with an intimate photograph of the two flooding the internet three weeks ago.

Lanre’s full participation in Monalisa’s foundation and charity ball, in December 2012 was a strong indicator. When Monalisa’s 5-year old daughter, Tamar, celebrated her birthday on Saturday, February 23, 2013,  Lanre was notably present, and was all romantic on the ‘Kiss and Tell‘ actress, causing a few bystanders to wonder if the couple had not already secretly tied the knot.

A close source told NET, ‘it seems like Mona has been bitten by the love bug as she is always happy to be in Lanre’s company.

Two weeks ago, the actress damned all consequences by stepping out with her alleged lover when they attended the premiere of Uche Jombo Rodriguez‘ movie, My Life, My Damage, at the Ozone Cinemas, Yaba together even though they tried to avoid being photographed together.

Lanre, who owns the popular Deuces night club, an upscale night club in Victoria Island, Lagos, is said to be rocking the ravishing actress’ world.

But sources say Lanre who has been around for a minute, is a womanizer and serial philanderer who has had children with different women.

Some have frowned at the relationship, being that the controversial ‘ladies man’ has been in the past linked to a long line of celebrity ladies which includes Liz Benson, Grace Egbagbe, Grace Ashafa and Folake Odutola with whom he co-owned the former upscale night club ‘Saga8‘.

The case of Grace Egbagbe, a Barrister and former topshot of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) is quite familiar, as they were always together at social events. Grace who is now in her late 50s, a style icon, has never been married and allegedly had her first child for Alex Ekwueme, a former Vice President of Nigeria. Her relationship with Lanre was rumoured to have fallen apart due to reasons hinged on infidelity and highhandedness. There was even a rumour of an alleged fling with former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Munachi Abii being the reason for the break-up. We could not immediately confirm this.

Monalisa on the other hand was once married to Segun Dejo-Richards. The two got divorced following allegations of domestic violence. The marriage produced a 5-year old daughter, Tamar. It’s been three years since the highly controversial marriage crashed, and some say it is only natural for the Rivers State-born single mom and Glo Ambassador to have a new beginning just like her ex-husband (who’s been married and separated during this period) has done.
