JUST IN: Pandemonium As Car Explosion Rocks Lagos, Killing 3 (PHOTOS)

The  busy Creek Road,  Apapa, Lagos was thrown into pandemoniun, Wednesday night, June 25, 2014 when an explosives-laden car went off at Folawiyo Fuel Depot.
Media reports are that  the explosion occurred at about 8:30pm; affecting four buildings, including two banks. Vanguardreports ‘no fewer than four people dead’.
Another blast has been recorded – this time in Apapa, Lagos – on a day 21 persons lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Abuja. Three persons were killed in front of Folawiyo fuel depot (also called tank farm), located on Creek Road – the same street with THISDAY newspaper – as a result of the explosion.
It is yet to be officially confirmed if the blast occurred from a bomb attack but a witness at the scene said emphatically: “It is a bomb. The police anti-bomb squad are on their way here. It is bomb blast.”
