A Cameroon lady lawyer Mrs Ngala Norgu Julia was arrested recently by
Nigerian Immigration Service, the Cross River State Command for
allegedly being in custody of a new born baby girl at the Calabar Port
while maneuvering her way to smuggle the baby which obviously she did
not gave birth to into Cameroon.
She earlier lied; she was delivered of the baby with the help of an
herbalist in Okiti-pupa, Ondo State. But after much scrutiny she
confessed of purchasing the baby from Okiti-Pupa for the sum of
N1.5million naira.
She has been handed over to the State Police Command.
