Happy 7th birthday, Twitter!
Amid the site's proliferation over the past several years, it seems celebrities and politicians dominate the conversation among Twitter's more than 200 million active users. With the site reporting that more than 400 million tweets are disseminated every day, it's only natural that such public figures would receive the same mass following they do across the rest of the Internet.
But, for better or worse, there are four celebrities who top our very own president as the most commonly followed Twitter users:
