“Before
I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved you [as my chosen
instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart,
consecrating you [and] appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
(Jeremiah 1:5, Amplified)
Chief Clement Moore Obioha, was a
‘living memorial’ to the truth of the word of God. God had a
calling
for him before he was conceived in his mother’s womb, and like father
Abraham, he fulfilled his calling.
Clement Moore Obioha, was born on the 30th of
October, 1924, in the village of Ndianiche, Arondizuogu, in the eastern
part of Nigeria. His parents were Mazi Gilbert Obiagboso Obioha and
Mrs. Mgbekeocha Obioha (nee Ezeokoli Ezeufondu, from Agbiligba Nanka).
Nothing in the circumstances of his birth gave any indication about a
future of great achievements; he was just one of seven children of his
parents. Even his now late parents had no idea that a great visitation
of God was afoot in their humble home. Only God knew before his
conception in his mother’s womb that he had ordained him for greatness,
and led him to become the “Ozuomee 1” (the one who plans and executes
faithfully) of Arondizuogu. He was Ozuomee in word and in deed.

Though, he had limited formal education,
Ozuomee pursued excellence in business, and despite the setbacks from
the Nigeria civil war in 1967/70, he built up his fleet by acquiring
large trucks providing haulage services on contract for the major
multinational oil companies in Nigeria like MOBIL,TEXACO,TOTAL. MOSCOL
TRANSPORT, which Ozuomee founded, is presently one of the few select
companies providing petroleum products haulage services in Nigeria for
the French owned multinational oil conglomerate, TOTAL OIL. Due to his
success in transportation, many people over the years have associated
him with the name “MOSCOL”. In addition to achieving great success
in transportation, Ozuomee diversified into the automotive distributive
business acquiring franchises from Diamler-Benz of Germany for Mercedes
Benz truck sales, and HONDA Motors of Japan for the sale of cars and
power products. When HONDA established a Nigerian manufacturing company,
he was elected a Director to represent the interests of Nigerian
shareholders in the Board of Directors. Ozuomee founded and served as
the Chairman of various companies including: C. MOORE OBIOHA SONS
& CO. LTD; MOORE NAILS AND STEEL INDUSTRIES LTD; PESTKIL NIGERIA
LTD; MOSCOL OIL & GAS CO. LTD; AND MOSCOL TRANSPORT. Ozuomee was a philanthropist!
