How ‘Fast and Furious’ star Paul Walker died in car accident

US actor Paul Walker is reportedly dead. The actor who is best known for his role in the action movie series ‘Fast and the Furious’ died instantly after a single-car accident and explosion on Saturday, November 30, 2013, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, Walker was inside a Porsche when the unidentified driver lost control and slammed the vehicle into a tree in Southern California. The car is reported to have burst into flames almost immediately.
Rapper 50 Cent sent out his condolences through his Instagram page, ‘RIP PAUL WALKER my prayers go out to his family and love ones God Bless‘.
Walker broke into Hollywood in the late 90s and joined the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise in 2001. He was meant to feature in the seventh instalment in 2014. The movie features the likes of Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
It is now unclear if ‘Fast and Furious’ which already began filming in September 2013 will still be produced.
