Pop artistes 2face Idibia, KCEE and rapper Modenine were all winners at The Headies 2013 but the trio were not present to pick up their awards as they were in Benue State for a scheduled show.
2face, KCEE, Modenine and at least 10 other Nigerian acts including M.I, Ice Prince, Sound Sultan, Vector, Ikechukwu, Styl Plus, Show Dem Camp travelled to Otukpo, in Benue State for the annual ‘Mark D Ball‘ which kicked off on December 26, 2013.
The Basketball event will run for the next five days, ending on Tuesday, December 31. 2013.
At The Headies, 2face’s ‘Ihe neme‘ won the award for ‘Best Pop single‘, KCEE’s ‘Limpopo‘ won ‘Song of the Year‘, while Modenine’s ‘Let it go’ got him the ‘Lyricist on the Roll‘ award for the seventh time
Artiste manager and Now Muzik boss Efe Omorogbe picked up both awards for 2face and Modey while producer Del B picked up KCEE’s award.
