A UNILAG Female student known as Iya Oyinbo, is on trial for allegedly drugging and raping 10 lecturers.
The student, was charged by police for allegedly sedating and
sexually abusing 10 lecturers from the university to pass their courses.
The 32-year-old woman who as been in the university (UNILAG) for 8 years
would get acquainted with men before inviting them back to her place
and giving them drinks laced with clonidine that put them to sleep for
almost 24 hours.
During that time she would undress her victims and rape them by
tightening a rope around their genitals to keep their penises erect. The
men eventually would wake up in the hospital with clonidine poisoning
and penis trauma. It was unclear how the men got to the hospital.
All of the men remembered the friendly woman with tribal marks who
gave them drinks, which helped police identify the woman. At present,
police know about 10 victims, although one of them refused to file a
complaint against her.
