Rihanna has revealed that she and Chris Brown are delighted to have a "fresh start" now that they've rekindled their romance.
The We Found Love songstress has patched things up with the RnB star four years after he assaulted her, but said things are different this time around, reported Gossip Cop.
She told Elle magazine: "Now that we're adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and we're thankful for that."
Rihanna went on: "Right now, that's just what we want, a great friendship, that's unbreakable."
The star, a big fan of body art, also opened up about the gun tattoo she had done after the incident with Chris in 2009, revealing that it is actually a symbol of her strength, reports The Press Association.
"Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life. Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No," Rihanna explained. "That's why I got the gun. It was a symbol of strength. I'll never be a victim."
The 25-year-old hinted that she and Chris are well on the way to settling down.
Asked where she sees herself in five years, she said: "I will probably have a kid."
