Quvenzhané Wallis, 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' Leading Actress Gets Oscars Nomination!


Quvenzhané Wallis, child star of 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' gets an Oscar nomination for her award winning performance as Hush Puppy in the movie, making her the youngest nominee for Best Actress ever. The 9 year old beautiful girl just found out this early Thursday morning.

"I woke up, and (my mother) said, 'You've been nominated! You're nominated!'" recalls Quvenzhane (Kuh-VAHN-zuh-nay) of learning she's up for the best actress prize at the 85th annual Oscars. "I was like, 'Oh my God!' But it was on the inside. It wasn't on the outside."

Stephen Spielberg's Lincoln leads the 2013 Oscars with 12 nominations, Life of Pi eleven, Silver Linings eight, Les Miserables eight, Ben Affleck’s film Argo seven, French film Armour five,  Django Unchained five, Zero Dark Thirty five, Skyfall five times and Hobbit three times.
