Baba Sala for burial December 7  

The family of the Late Moses Adejumo popularly known as Baba Sala,  has

announced December 6 and 7 as dates for the burial ceremony of the icon.

His son, a Performing Officer at the National Troupe of Nigeria, Emmanuel Adejumo, popularly called “Boisala’’ said that the family had decided on the date for the burial.

The late Adejumo, a Member of the Order of the Niger,  a comedian, dramatist and actor died on October 7 at 82 in Ilesa, Osun State.

His body has since been deposited at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex Annex, (Wesley Guild Hospital) in Ilesa.

PDP names Saraki DG of Atiku presidential campaign council

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, was on Tuesday named the Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council by the Peoples Democratic Party.

PDP’s chairman, Uche Secondus, shared the news on his Twitter handle, @uchesecondus. He shared a list of party members, who have been picked to be part of the campaign team of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

He said, “After due consultation with party stakeholders, PDP, under my leadership has approved the following as members of Atiku Presidential Campaign Council.”

Apart from the Senate president, Ayo Fayose, Aminu Tambuwal, Ibrahim Dankwambo, Samuel Ortom, Nyesom Wike and Dave Umahi were named as zonal coordinators.
