Nollywood Star Kate Henshaw to release Work Out DVD this September – Will You Buy?

Yesterday exclusive report that Nollywood star Kate Henshaw will be sharing her fitness secrets in a workout DVD, which will be called “Kate’s Fit 4 Life”.
According to the blog, the 43 year old movie star, who is also a brand ambassador for Samsung Mobile and Samsung Electronics West Africa, as well as the face of Onga seasoning, was spotted in New York City, USA, to complete post production.
While there, she also reportedly signed an international distribution deal with a US based media company.

The fitness DVD set to hit stores in September 2013, will be the first in the series of work out DVDs from Kate and will be marketed both locally and internationally.
We are really excited that our entertainers are pushing the envelope. Kate joins other Nigerian and international celebrities including beauty queen/entrepreneur Nike Oshinowo, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore, Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian and Carmen Electra who have work out DVDs.

11 Killed By Boko Haram Bomb In A Kano Drinking Joint

 


At least 11 people have died in a drinking joint on New Road in  Sabon Garin area of Kano following the explosion of a an improvised Explosive Device believed to have been planted by Bopko Haram.
A security source in Kano told Saharareporters that after the bomb exploded heavily armed militants shot and killed several patrons of the bar as they tried to run to safety.
 The death toll was likely to be higher than 11 according to our source..
"Our people on the scene and have reported that they have so far recovered 11 bodies from the scene of the attack," says the source.

He added that the recovery process is still ongoing., we expect to recover more bodies.

Witnesses on the scene have stated that there might have been more than one bomb explosion.

Sabo Garin, which literally means visitors quarters has a high concentration of christian elements from the Southern parts of Nigeria. Boko Haram has in the past targeted churches, bars and clubs frequented by non-indigenes in the area

2 Cousins Die Committing Incest In Imo

Mr Mathias Nwoko and his female Cousin, Angela Ihuoma Anyanwu

Hell was let loose at Umualianya kindred Umumpe, Umuevu Okirika-Nweke in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of Imo State last Monday when a man, Mr Mathias Nwoko and his female Cousin, Angela Ihuoma Anyanwu, met their untimely death while making love to each other.
Sources in the community told 247ureports.com that the late Mathias, 45, had returned home from his Onitsha base to attend the priestly ordination of his kinsman, Rev. Fr. Anayochukwu Onuoha, held at Mater Dei Cathedral, Umuahia, Abia State last Saturday June 20 2013.
It was learnt that all through the ordination ceremony, Mathias and the late Angela were literally tied to each other, with the latter taking the front seat of the former’s jeep.
Their entanglement was said to have continued the next day, Sunday, during the ceremony marking the first Holy and Thanksgiving Mass at Holy Ghost Parish, Umuevu Okirika-Nweke.
The deceased were also seen together at the ordination reception and later at the compound of the new priest where they were dancing to the music coming from Mathias’ car’s loudspeakers, while he occasionally was shooting gunshots from his pump action gun as Angela fed him with cartridges.
Interestingly, the deceased cousins were among family members who received prayers from the new priest, who earlier enjoined the people of the community to shun hypocrisy, atrocities and other iniquities if they must avoid God’s anger.
The late Mathias who was said to have been married for 13 years without any child, however, returned home with a young girl as his fiancée who he left in the house.
It was gathered that while the fiancée was home watching videos and waiting for Mathias, he only returned around 11pm and told her to go to sleep while he collected torchlight to see Angela off to her house.
But that was not to be as the duo diverted to Mathias’ semi-completed building.
Worried by her daughter’s non arrival to the house, Angela’s mother called her phone line but Mathias was said to have answered the phone telling the woman that her daughter was with him.
Also, alarmed by Mathias’ absence in the house up till Monday morning, his fiancée began to look for him within the house and was shocked to have stumbled on the naked but entangled bodies locked in death.
She immediately alerted Mathias’ family members who could not believe their eyes. Also, Angela’s mother who was returning from Morning mass was simply speechless at the sight of the deceased.
The lady who was on top of the man had her blouse on but naked from the waist region while the man had his singlet on his neck. The two were dead.
Their bodies were removed and deposited at Holy Rosary Hospital, Ogbor Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA.
When contacted, the state police public relations officer (PPRO), Mrs Joy Elemoko, promised to call back to inform our reporter about the outcome of police investigation.

Award-Winning Music video director Aswad Ayinde jailed for 90years after raping & impregnating his 6 daughters

Award Winning Music director,55 year old Aswad Ayinde has been sentenced to 90 years in jail after being found guilty in the second of five expected trials in which he is accused of repeatedly raping his six daughters, resulting in six children being fathered.His former wife said he was trying to create a ‘pure family bloodline’ by impregnating his daughters. He even claimed during a pre-trial hearing before the first trial that 'the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen.'

In this latest trial, it was revealed that Mr. Ayinde began having intercourse with his second daughter from the time she eight-years-old, impregnating her four times.

The sexual assaults happened for almost 30 years until Mr. Ayinde and his wife separated, officials said. They occurred in numerous homes across northern New Jersey, even while the family was under watch of state child welfare officials, according to NBC New York. Some of the rapes even took place in an abandoned funeral home.

The depraved father also beat and starved the girls using wooden boards and steel-toed boots for even ‘minor transgressions,’ Ayinde’s wife testified at the first trial.

Some of the children Ayinde fathered with his daughters were born in the home, with at least two babies who died in the home having been buried without notifying authorities or obtaining birth certificates, NBC New York reported.

Mr. Ayinde also fathered 12 additional children with an additional three women, according to court records

Ayinde’s tortured daughters were home schooled and isolated from other children, so as to keep the family secrets hidden, the station added. 

With his wife too afraid to confront him, Mr. Ayinde carried out his evil plan without hindrance even while directing the music video for the Fugees 1996 breakout hit ‘Killing Me Softly, for which he won  ‘Best R&B Video' at the 1996 MTV Music Video Awards.

After tonight’s Evictions that saw Annabel and Sulu being given the boot, Big Brother then gathered all of the Housemates in the living room to inform them that Tanzania’s Nando has been disqualified from the Big Brother House for the fight that he had with Elikem on Friday. The heated face-off with Elikem saw the two fellas exchanging fiery words between them. Nando is the one that instigated the fight. For this fight Nando received his second Strike and Elikem was has served with his first Strike. Afterwards the Tanzanian was called into the Diary Room. He was given his third Strike for making threats against Elikem’s life, saying: “I feel like stabbing him. A nigga like that deserves to die”. And he was also caught sleeping with scissors under his bed and this is not the first time that he has been caught with a weapon in the House. The troubled young fellow has had a dramatic nine weeks in The Chase. Last month he was served with a a Strike and a stern warning from Big Brother after he was found carrying a knife to the Channel O Party. The possession of weapons or intention to be violent in the House another violation of the Big Brother rules. After the Diary session Nando was told to immediately exit the House. ASUU Denies Plan To Call Off Strike

The ACADEMIC Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU, has described as speculative reports that the strike embarked upon by the union over the inability of the Federal Government to implement the 2009 agreement it willingly entered into with the union would be called off this Thursday.


  National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge, told Vanguard that he was surprised to hear that the union was going to call off the strike on Thursday when the issues tabled before government had not been resolved
Faggae said: “There is nothing like that (suspending the strike). I am also surprised to hear people say that we are going to call off the strike.
He said: “Our members have made it categorically clear what they want. This meeting we had with government on Friday at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, is just exploratory.
“We are trying to look at issues holistically and see how we are going to address them. So assignments were given to various people that attended the meeting and the expectation is that we will meet tomorrow (today), Monday and look at the assignment given and also look at it on Thursday again.
“So, that is why I’m surprised to hear people say that we are going to suspend strike on Thursday. The mandate of our members is very clear. So, we will wait and see what the Monday and Thursday meetings unfold and then we report back to our members.”
On how long it would take ASUU leaders to convene a meeting with its members after the meeting with government on Thursday, the ASUU boss said “we are in constant consultation with our members, we don’t really have problems with that.
“After the meeting, we will decide when to link up with our members depending upon what is placed on table on Thursday.”
Commenting on the speculation that the union might suspend the strike if the government met up to 50 per cent of the agreement, Faggae said the union would prefer to get to the bridge before crossing it.
He commended the positive disposition of the Joint Senate and House of Representatives Committee on Education towards the resolution of the crisis.
Fagge added: “For us, the interaction we have had with the Joint Committee clearly indicates that they are concerned like other Nigerians”.
“This is expected of the representatives of people. You see the problem has always been that the executive arm of government does not really hearken to advise that are given on how best to address the problems on education in this country.
“We are convinced as a union that the only thing the government can really do for Nigerians is to avail them of education.
“Once you are able to do that, you will see that people will be able to generate jobs and they will be able to take care of themselves and contribute to nation building. So that is the argument we are placing on the table.”
